This may sound like a silly
question...
What are the properties of glue that allows it to stick
so successfully when it dries...??
IOW...What actually
makes it stick..??
Some glues are a chemical reaction, & some
rely on an air drying process ( terminology ?? )
Are their
STICK properties the same when cured ??
*Waiting for the gangster slaps*

Glue sticks through a process
called "polymerisation'. It is prevented form polymerising in the tube
by acidic stabilisers. When bought into contact with a surface, moisture
overcomes the action of the stabiliser, resulting in polymerisation.
