Cabbage leaves, chilled, are used to decrease lymphatic and venous engorgement of the breast in the initial days of lactation. (as opposed to milk engorgement)

Grated carrot can be helpful in healing grazed nipples from incorrect attachment of the baby (Vit A) (no wise cracks about adding the mayonnaise please)

The hormone is oxytocin. It is the female hormone that is responsible for orgasm, letting down of breast milk and the contractions of labour. It can be produced in a response to pleasurable signals, and emotional responses (eg, baby crying, or even looking at the baby, or thinking about sex etc)
