first hear about or discover this forum? A. Listening to Dr Karl on Thurs. mornings. First popped in in late 1998 I think. Was a bit of life line really as we'd just moved interstate and I hardly knew anyone locally. 2) How often do you use this foum? A. So often I've had to get a new ISP plan for unlimited hours. 3) What city/town/state/country are you in? A. Huskisson, NSW. 4) Where do you normally access the forum from (i.e. home, work, etc)? A. Home 5) How old are you (or approximately, if you wish) A. 31 and 231 days. 6) What do you do when you are not using the forum (i.e. present occupation)? A. Look for jobs, write job applications, and generally try to find myself as a person. (Currently going through a career change crisis). 7) What first made you interested in science? A. Can't remember, I was always keeping insects in bug catchers and feral mice in shoe boxes though. I just find all creatures great and small utterly fascinating. I think the Life on Earth series probably played a big part in fostering my interests, but even before that it could have been the wildlife stories on The Walt Disney Show (cringes at the thought now). 8) What area of science interests you the most? A. Desperately wanted to be a vet at school, though studied botany and zoology at uni instead. Now tending toward combining that with my interest in info management so currently checking out GIS and land info systems as a possible career. 9) Give one fact about yourself not provided in the above answers. A. I can fly a Cessna 172. 10) Qualifications A. BSc Hons Zoology (herpetology) 11) Status A. Betrothed. | |
