Let's get this straight here and
$#@%ing NOW.
The image of sun and moon on the
horizon ARE NOT actually bigger than when they are high in the
sky!!!
IT IS A WELL KNOWN OPTICAL ILLUSION!!!!!!!
It's NOT a
bizarre gravitational lensing effect!
It's NOT a bizarre optical
lensing due to curvature of the atmosphere!
It's NOT a bizarre
optical diffusion effect of particles in the atmosphere!
IT IS A
WELL KNOWN OPTICAL ILLUSION!!!!!!!!!!
Don't believe me?
Take two pictures of the moon, one on the horizon and one high in the
sky... THEY WILL BE THE SAME SIZE!!!!!
Please! PLEASE! No more questions on the size of the sun and
moon on the horizon!!!! Please?!?
Soupie twist, Ed
G.
