Do birds ever burp?
My educated guess is no.
Birds have a very unique digestive system. I looked on the internet and was not able to find a diagram. You may wish to visit your local library for a look at one. It consists of the esophagus, crop, proventriculus, gizzard, small intestine, 2 colic caeca, the large intestine, and cloaca (in that order). Birds hold food in their crop and can regurgitate when needed to feed their young. The gizzard is a muscular organ that helps grind up seeds in preparation for digstion, since they swollow their food whole.
